Location: Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar
Duration: 10 Months (Extendable based on project requirements)
Working Hours: 9 hours per day, 6 days per week
Mobilization: Immediate

Job Description:
Inspec Energy is urgently hiring an Environmental Coordinator to support one of our clients in their offshore commissioning operations. This is a contract-based role requiring a strong understanding of environmental compliance within the oil and gas or shipyard sectors.

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring environmental programs at the site, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and company requirements, and supporting ongoing environmental performance improvement initiatives throughout the commissioning phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure implementation of environmental procedures, standards, and best practices across commissioning activities

Monitor site environmental conditions and ensure compliance with local regulations and project environmental management plans

Conduct environmental risk assessments, inspections, and audits

Prepare and maintain documentation including permits, reports, and environmental impact records

Coordinate waste management, spill response, and other environmental control programs

Liaise with internal teams and regulatory bodies on all environmental matters

Promote environmental awareness among site personnel

Candidate Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental coordination roles, preferably in offshore, shipyard, or oil and gas environments

NEBOSH Environmental Certification is preferred

Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards

Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
