Job Description – Plumbing / Fire Protection Inspector
Position: Plumbing / Fire Protection Inspector
Location: Dukhan, Qatar
Duration: 6 months (extendable based on project requirements)
Contract Type: Contract Basis
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect plumbing and fire protection systems during construction and installation.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, and purchase orders.
Conduct site inspections and prepare reports with minimal supervision.
Review engineering drawings and verify installations meet quality and safety standards.
Support the project team in resolving inspection-related issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
HND/Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of inspection experience in manufacturing/construction, including at least 2 years in plumbing or fire protection systems.
Thorough knowledge of standards and codes such as:
Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)
International Plumbing Code (IPC)
ASME 31.9
NFPA 13, 14, 20, 99
IBC, UFC, or equivalent standards
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
