Position: Draftsman – Structural (Lifting Plan / AutoCAD)

Project: Oil & Gas Pipeline Project
Job Summary
We are looking for a Structural Draftsman with expertise in AutoCAD to join our lifting team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing lifting plans and structural drawings to support heavy lifting operations on site.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare critical & standard lifting plans and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
Interpret engineering sketches, load charts, and lifting procedures to develop accurate drawings.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, rigging requirements, and project lifting procedures.
Revise and update drawings based on engineering inputs and site modifications.
Coordinate with engineers and site teams to support lifting execution.
Requirements
Diploma / ITI in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Drafting (engineering background preferred).
Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in drafting, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or heavy lifting projects.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Structural) with proven experience in lifting plan preparation.
Knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail with good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in heavy lifting operations.
Familiarity with international lifting standards (BS, ASME, OSHA).
